To anyone who'd care to read this: thanks!
Okay, so this is my first lj entry and I'm only posting this so my page doesn't look so absolutely fucking empty.
I got inspired to create an lj account when everywhere I went on the net to read something I got directed to an lj page. It just really made me sort of go: "Huh. LJ people are really cool. Oooohh, lookey there! What's that one about?" This is the sad story of my initial exposure to livejournal.
A few things my future readers should probably know is that while I'm not actively engaged in any fandom i.e attends conventions, gets on discussions on forums, stalks people online, etc... I do get pretty obsessive about certain topics and fan fiction (God bless the evil souls who first started this) is my outlet. I haven't written much but I'm sort of... um... well... I have this compulsive need to devour any and every single story I can find on a certain topic. It's an unhealthy addiction that I just can't seem to shake.
Right now I'm pretty busy with my internship so I probably won't be posting anything until after I'm done with it. So that's late-March-ish. But anyway, the things people can probably expect from this journal are the following:
- rants (topic will vary from inane things like people who piss me off on the train to moderately relevant stuff like what I think about the current President)
- articles (for stuff that's actually relevant to my field (Computer Science) so this might be boring)
- reviews (may be about books, music, tv series, cartoons/anime, movies, or the current shitty fashion trend - you never know)
- fic recs (Oh, yes. I'm gonna do quite a few of these for several fandoms.)
- and possibly (if I ever get off my ass and actually pick up a pen) my own written work (fanfic or original stuff) or even art
I'll update that list when I think of something else. Thanks for spending some time with this absolutely useless entry but please feel free to tell me to fuck off or something. Another thing people should know about me: I love debates (my fancy word for "The time when I can tell people to get off my back and to go fuck themselves."). Screaming at people (even if there's no actual screaming involved) or just generally having a pissing match is a great way to relieve tension. I tell you guys, it's a must.
